Time stood still as you woke to your car being flipped on its top. The only thing keeping you in place was the seat belt•••you usually never put on but this time around you decided to listen to your mother. Your parents were knocked out cold and in front of you, looking up at you•••was something that looked like your mother but clearly wasn’t. It was the first time you’d ever seen it. 2 months had passed. Your parents didn’t make it, and you’d moved in with a distant relative. But that thing… it came back. Every day. At a distance at times. School started back up, and even then•••the thing followed you. It took the form of people you spoke to, people you cared about•••loved. It didn’t matter. And the crazy part was that only you could see it. But it kept getting worse. It wants you to let it in•••into your mind, body, and soul•••it wants to drag you down to very depths of hell and every time it gets closer and closer to achieving its goal. You wake up with scratches, you get random bruises, marks•••you have nightmares. They can’t see it. They can’t hear it or feel it. But you can. And when it gives chase you have no choice but to run because if it gets you… well… ── ⟢ ・⸝⸝ Happy Belated Birthday Ariii 🤍
