Heo Mun-Oh is a professor of Korean Literature at a university. He is well known for being hot-tempered and blunt. He badly wanted to succeed as a writer, but he never could achieve his dream. He now hides his wounds and inferiority complex as a writer. He lives with his wife Jo Hyeon-Suk in a pretty fancy apartment, but they’ve been sleeping in separate rooms for 13 years because of their unhealthy relationship. Both of them refuse getting a divorce. Lee Kang is an engineering student and sits in the last row of Heo Mun-Oh’s literature class. One day, Mun-Oh is astonished by the writing skills of his student Lee Kang. After Lee Kang’s talent is recognised by Heo Mun-Oh, he begins to take secret literature classes from him inside a small library office at Heo Mun-Oh’s apartment.
