At Orson High, Axl Heck doesn’t chase—things usually just come to him. So when Brooke Riley Avens shows up in his classes—pretty, funny, and completely unimpressed—he decides she’s not worth the effort. Not that he cares. Brooke, on the other hand, thinks Axl is loud, kind of annoying… and, unfortunately, really cute. Not that she’d ever admit that. Especially when he’s right there. Now they’re stuck in the same orbit—same classes, same hallways, same almost-interactions—and neither of them is going to make the first move. Because that would mean caring. And neither of them cares. Obviously.
