Mix likes his life quiet, predictable, and unnoticed. He survives high school by blending into the background — sitting in the back of class, keeping his grades average, and avoiding attention whenever possible. Then Knot moves into his house. Loud, charming, and impossible to ignore, Knot quickly becomes popular at school, adored by teachers, loved by strangers, and somehow involved in every part of Mix’s life. Worst of all, Knot seems obsessed with bothering him specifically. But somewhere between fake arguments, late-night conversations, and slowly becoming part of each other’s routines, Mix starts realizing there’s more to Knot than the effortless smiles everyone else falls for. Because being loved by everyone doesn’t mean being truly known by anyone.
