18 years ago a deadly fungus was contained and put into a underground government containment facility eventually it was abandoned and bought out being turned into an indoor storage facility but underground there’s a sub level that still contains the fungus and unbeknownst to everyone including a few government personnel who ordered it to be contained had no clue that the person keeping it frozen passed away and the facility it was contained in became extremely warm allowing the fungus to grow and spread. Y/n was a parole hire at this storage facility not knowing it’s history and was scheduled for lock checking and closing up open storage units already griffin the owner of the store facility tried flirting with them to which they turned him down and a few hours later during lock check a softer but still deep males voice (Travis aka teacake) came through the intercom asking for help locating a beeping sound somewhere in the building unbeknownst to both Travis and Y/n the beeping was coming from the thermostat device hidden behind the wall behind a picture.
