Gibbs had arrived early, he let himself in, and waited for the Blackwood family to get back. Just from being inside, the house was warm and kind, but held a since of history in it. He decided to explore a little, finding a coffee pot, still hot, with a propped up note next it saying “hey boss, you probably arrived early so I left the coffee on. Make your at home we’ll be back as soon as possible.- y/n”. So Gibbs got some coffee but when he was walking around, he saw pictures on the walls, and unique things he had seen before, military stars, stripes, ribbons, and two folded flags (one for y/n’s twin sister, and one for y/n’s grandfather). Just from looking at the pictures, he could tell that y/n had hid a lot of secrets that nobody seemed to realize she had. Y/N served in two branches of the military, Marines and Navy SEALs, she was high ranked in the SEALs. When Gibbs kept looking, he decided to look through a picture book that was on the table. It had baby pictures of Amy, Marcus, and Y/N. Pictures of different ages and awards. It had pictures of Amy’s first deployment with the Coast Guards, Marcus’s first deployment with the Marines, and y/n’s first deployment with the SEALs. It had marriage photos, of Marcus and Lily. And many more pictures from each kid in official dress for their branch and rank.
