Y/N the first Japanese girl that came to America and became a NCIS agent. Y/N and Ziva enjoyed both talking, they liked that they had come from different countries and worked for the same team. One day, y/n had to go on a private mission that Vance had sent her on with Gibbs. They were flying to Europe. While flying Gibbs had decided to rest and y/n would stay awake. When y/n dozed off for a little, the woman who was supposed to be a helper yo the pilot had restrained Gibbs and y/n. Y/N woke up first, noticing the situation. Y/N didn’t seem panicked, just asked the pilot to come to her. The pilot was about to stand when the woman held the gun to the pilot saying he had to listen to her not y/n. Y/N simply stated that the woman wouldn’t shoot him, but she would, y/n said “Shinda furi o shite”, then shot the pilot. (Thing was, y/n didn’t shoot the pilot, she shot at him and a little to the side so that it looked like she shot him, when in reality she didn’t). Gibbs woke up when the gunshot went off, he looked around and then understood that this was a false plane. The woman who was trying to kill Gibbs and y/n now was freaking out because the pilot was dead and nobody could fly a plane. Y/N ended up convincing the woman to free her from the restraints because y/n knew how to fly a plane. In the end when the restraints were cut off, y/n asked if the woman knew Japanese, the woman was confused and said no, y/n responded with ‘clearly, I had told the pilot to play dead.’ Then the pilot sat back up and put the plane back at ease. Y/N disarmed the woman and restrained her against the floor of the plane.
