In this alternate version of the story, Rudeus Greyrat still follows his journey of reincarnation, growth, and survival within the Six-Faced World. But everything changes with the appearance of Ver — a mysterious white-haired being whose existence seems disconnected from fate itself. Ver is feared not because he seeks destruction, but because his presence feels overwhelmingly superior to all living things. Possessing abyss-like violet eyes ringed with gold and a godlike confidence, Ver views the world as fundamentally beneath him. Kings, demons, mages, and even legendary warriors fail to impress him. Unlike Rudeus, who struggles, learns, and grows through human experiences, Ver enters the world already believing himself complete — an existence standing above destiny, power, and emotion. As the story progresses: * the Mana Disaster reacts strangely to Ver’s presence * ancient ruins awaken around him * monsters instinctively fear him * entire nations become obsessed with controlling or understanding him Most terrifying of all, Hitogami cannot see or manipulate Ver’s future, making him an anomaly that threatens the balance of the world itself. Meanwhile, Orsted recognizes Ver as a danger beyond prediction, leading to a legendary rivalry between two overwhelming beings. Throughout the story, Ver becomes a constant shadow over Rudeus’ journey: * challenging his understanding of strength * forcing him to confront inferiority * and questioning whether power without humanity can truly be called greatness In the end, the story evolves from simply overcoming fate… to confronting a being who believes he stands above fate entirely.
