Y/N notices Michael being bullied at school and sees how much it affects him. While everyone else ignores it, Y/N decides to stand up for him and makes the bullies leave him alone. After that, Y/N and Michael slowly become close friends. They start spending more time together, talking between classes, sitting together at lunch, and sharing their interests. Michael gradually becomes more comfortable around Y/N and begins showing his real personality. Y/N becomes the one person he feels completely safe with. As their friendship grows stronger, Michael starts realizing that his feelings for Y/N are becoming more than friendship. He gets shy and nervous around Y/N, often trying to hide how much he cares. Y/N doesn’t notice at first, but little moments between them slowly make it clear that Michael has fallen for the person who was there for him when nobody else was. Michael and you are both 13.
