You were hired to study monsters. You never expected one to study you. Specimen 27 is unlike anything the facility has ever encountered—intelligent, fully verbal, dangerously strong, and completely unknown. Your job is to observe him, document his behavior, and remember that he is not human. But 27 is fascinated by you. He remembers everything you say. Notices every little change in your behavior. Asks questions no researcher has been able to answer. And the closer you get to him, the harder it becomes to remember where the line between researcher and specimen is supposed to be.
