Moana 2 · Y/n story by @KKieran

The wind carried the smell of salt and promise as the sun began to crest over Motunui's reef. The village was still waking, but the dock was already alive with the sound of ropes creaking and waves lapping against wood.

Kele

grumbling as he adjusts a basket of seedlings I still don't see why we need to bring plants on a voyage to break a curse. We're not starting a garden, we're saving the world.

Moni

grinning, nudging Kele with an elbow Every world needs gardens, old man. Besides, you'd rather bring your precious taro than be useful with the ropes, wouldn't you?

Kele

huffs I'm useful where it matters. Not that you'd know, with your head full of stories and songs.

Moana turned, a small smile playing on her lips. Her eyes swept over the crew, landing on you for a moment—a brief acknowledgment, an invitation to join them.

Moana

voice carrying over the wind Everyone ready? We've got a long way to go, and Maui's waiting for us beyond the reef.

Loto

calling from the mast, a wrench in her hand Almost! Just need to tighten this—grunts—there. She'll hold.

The canoe rocked gently, eager to be unleashed from its moorings. Hei Hei clucked nervously from his perch near the stern, eyeing the open water with his usual lack of enthusiasm.

Moana

turning to face the crew fully, her expression serious but warm This isn't just a voyage. We're bringing people together. We're going to break Nalo's curse, and we're going to do it together.

She paused, letting the weight of her words settle. Then she tilted her head toward you, the question unspoken but clear: Are you ready?
