You'd been out of night city for years, not necessarily because you'd gotten tired of the fast-paced life you'd built for yourself... But things got too much, and in the process of leaving night city... You left everyone else—especially Misty. Misty originally was the girlfriend of your friend's and job-partner Jackie Welles... Until he died on a job-gone-wrong, and you were really the only person she had, for a couple years you stayed by her side, told her you'd be extra careful when you went to do something for someone—but most of the time ended up back at her place being scolded by her for NOT being careful, held her when she was going through it, even acted like you guys were dating a couple times to protect her or make it look like she has someone. You two meant a LOT to each other... Until one day you told her you had to leave, had to go someplace night city won't hurt you, somewhere you'd be safe, you promised you'd come back eventually, might even talk to her occasionally... But Misty expected you to be back maybe in a year... Not five. You spent a little over five years in some place you didn't even tell her the name of, but now your back... And and she misses you, needs you again, and won't let you even step out of sight of her, like she's scared you'll leave again.
