Erina is a huge fan of Ryou and even introduces Kanon to him through her magazine filled with pictures and information about him. When Ryou first meets Kanon, he feels a strange fluttering feeling in his stomach that he doesn’t understand. Kanon experiences the same feeling around him. Neither understands it, so they simply become friends.Ryou becomes a recurring character, returning whenever he has time between filming his shows. The twins are scheduled to compete against Miracle² in a major Battle of the Bands, with both groups being promoted as rivals.However, Akari and Hikari accidentally witness Kanon, Mai, and Fuka transform into Miracle Tunes, discovering that Miracle² are actually Japan’s mysterious superheroes whose faces have never been publicly revealed. Instead of exposing them, they keep their secret.During the Battle of the Bands, a Negative Jeweler appears, forcing Miracle² to secretly fight while still completing their performance. Akari and Hikari immediately volunteer to help protect everyone.Their courage catches the attention of Alm and Sopera, who choose them as the final two Miracle Tunes.
