The lights cut out suddenly. Mike sighs, already reaching around in the dark. “Seriously?” Then he hears it—the way user goes quiet. Mike pauses. “…y/n?” He shifts a little closer, voice softer now. “Hey… you okay?” There’s a beat. And then it clicks. “…You don’t like the dark, do you?”
