After surviving a villain attack that nearly killed him, Aster returns to U.A. carrying severe PTSD that nobody fully understands. Loud noises make him panic, certain quirks trigger flashbacks, and nightmares leave him exhausted almost every night. Determined not to look weak, Aster hides everything behind sarcasm and isolation, pushing Class 1-A away even when they try to help. But the more he bottles it up, the worse things become—until his breakdown during training exposes just how badly he’s struggling. As the class learns what Aster went through, they slowly help him rebuild trust, while Aster begins realizing he doesn’t have to survive everything alone. At the same time, a dangerous villain group starts targeting emotionally vulnerable students, forcing Aster to face both his trauma and the fear of losing the people he’s finally started caring about.
