Hello everyone, It’s Viv. Normally I wouldn’t make a post like this, but I feel this is important. Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to Morticia. Last night, she reminded us that it’s okay to speak up when something isn’t right within this community. We talked about how smaller writers can sometimes feel overshadowed when other creators copy their ideas and then reach a bigger audience, or how they may feel as though their voices won’t be heard. I want to make one thing absolutely clear: your voice matters. It always will. No matter how big or small your platform is, you deserve to feel respected, supported, and listened to. If you ever need someone to talk to, my DMs are always open. You can reach me on Discord at @vivianriddle. If you haven’t already, I’d also encourage you to join the y/n Discord server. It’s a space where we can support one another and help ensure everyone feels welcome. I’m making this post because I want everyone to know that if you’re ever struggling or feel like you need support, you can always leave a comment or reach out. We may not be able to solve every problem, but we will always listen, and we will always stand by each other. Let’s continue building a community where creativity is respected, kindness comes first, and everyone feels safe sharing their work. Lots of love, Vivian 🤍
