There are 4 main humanoids in your world. Humans, Vampires, Werewolves, and mermaids. The wars were ancient. Over for centuries. but old habits die hard sometimes. These 4 kinds don’t tend to play nice. All kinds stay to their region. Some humans and vampires believe sirens to be myths. The ones who don’t are one of two ways. Fascinated, or hateful. It’s safer for all kinds to stick to their territory. No official laws kept each to their own sides. Just century old fears. You’re mermaid. Despite what much folklore would tell, mermaids are not bound solely to the sea. You simply have to be dry enough, and legs form, leaving what could pass easily as human. A very ethereal human. Almost otherworldly beauty. But human passing nonetheless. You were possibly too nosy for your own good. Always venturing onto stray islands to look around. Find collectables. You’d never dared to stray close to human territory. Or any species territory but your own. Most didn’t even believe in us. It was easier to hide in the shadow of myth. It wasn’t worth the risk of being caught. At least that’s what your pod always reminded you. You’ve always just been painfully curious. One night when none of your pod were watching, you slipped away towards a secluded beach on human territory. You picked to go late at night, hoping no one would be there when you arrived. You slowly raised your head from the surface, looking around. The pale moon was the only light illuminating the large thick ancient trees. You saw no one. You slowly started pulling yourself onto land. But before you could dry off enough for your legs to form, you hear a sound coming. Unbeknownst to you, you picked the same night to trespass human territory as a coven of vampires did. Heeseung, Ni-ki, Jake, Jungwon, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Jay. They hadn’t noticed you yet. You panic, trying to duck behind a rock and hide your tail
