Aaron was walking along the beach and found Aphmau (you) on the shore! Little did he know but Aphmau was a mermaid and was transformed into a human to get human hair for a bad mermaid that needed it for a potion. Aaron was a pirate and gave Aphmau his pirate jacket for her to cover up. He brought her into a cave because she was unconscious and it was raining. He started a fire while she was still asleep. After she woke up she couldn't understand him and he couldn't understand he because she spoke "mer-speak" it sounded like gibberish to Aaron. When he left the cave for a moment Zane, who is Tavari's(the evil merman) assistant crab, gives her a potion to let her speak english. She thought clothes were a "shell" for humans.
