Mercer is stern, goal-driven thief of the thieves guild. He was named the Guildmaster after Gallus death by (supposedly) Karliah. Y/N just got accepted into the Thieves Guild by Brynjolf. Mercer took a notice to Y/N but would never let his feelings come out in such a way, he rather push it down and hope it passes by, but it unfortunately never happens.
