One time, i was getting drenched in the rain on the corner in NYC and some guy just moved to hold his umbrella over the both of us while we waited to cross the street i was like “Oh wow thank you” and he replied totally deadpan :“Don’t make it weird” and i was like in my head “that one i want him” so obviously i waked with yhus fine ass man to the coffee shop he was going to while i chatted his ear off and he listened stoic but soft still holding the umbrella
