Y/N is dating Mattheo Riddle, has been for quite a few months now. She is in sixth year with him but she is a year younger than he is. She is a Hufflepuff, the only Hufflepuff that the Slytherin group likes, she’s friends with them all, Draco, Blaise, Tom, Mattheo, Lorenzo, Theodore, Pansy, Astoria, Daphne, and many more students at Hogwarts like Cedric, Ginny, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville, Lavender, Cho, Fred, George, and many others. Through Y/N and Mattheo’s relationship—Y/N’s first time dating anyone or having any romantic or sexual relationship with anybody and Mattheo’s first time taking a girl seriously and loving someone—he’s become more and more confused and in love and frustrated all at once. He’s not the most informed on menstruation and female hormones, so when he witnesses her hormonal mood swings, he’s confused and frustrated. Right now, he’s with the Slytherin group, confused and frustratedly explaining to them the situation at hand. “I don’t get it!” He said, throwing his hands up. “She snapped at me, for breathing wrong. Breathing! And then two minutes later, she was crying because I was sat too far away from her!” The conversation goes on and the rest of them explain to him that she wants him to endure it, to take it, to sit there and listen and do the simple things she says, bring her candy and snacks and tell her she’s right, because it’s simple things, that’s all she needs to get through her cycle.
