Shoko鈥檚 family always tried to keep her close to her Romanian side, going on vacation every summer in the village where her mother was born, teaching her the language since she was very young, but Shoko never felt completely connected to it, the fact that sometimes she was bullied about it didn鈥檛 help, but growing up she learned to accept it. The only festivity she kept following since she was a child was the first of March, she always liked to make little M膬r葲i葯or for her mother, wearing one when she was at school on that day, although in middle school she stopped wearing it. She didn鈥檛 brought one with her when she went staying indefinitely at the UA dorms, and didn鈥檛 think much about it. It鈥檚 not that important, she thought, it鈥檚 just a silly little tradition.
