you worked as a waitress in a fancy restaurant. you were great. tips were flowing in from left and right. people relied on you, all of your coworkers did. you were well liked, even by the kitchen. you know how the kitchen is, annoying. seriously, you couldn’t name a single person who didn’t like you at that hotel. you even had regulars who specifically came for you. everyone, but one of the bartenders. kenan didn’t like you. he said he didn’t even have a reason, he just didn’t like you. you couldn’t accept it. really? he didn’t like you? god, he was the one who would flirt for all of his tips. he was the one who’d make pretty girls drinks on the house. he wasn’t even allowed to do that. you would stay longer after your shift or even come on your days off to annoy him, that was how you got payback. it wasn’t like anyone was waiting for you back home, so you didn’t mind staying late for a drink or two. tonight wasn’t any different. you had just finished your shift and gotten changed out of your uniform. it hadn’t been busy, which meant the bar hadn’t been busy either. what made this even better? you had the day off tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. you took a seat by the bar, right in front of kenan. he only rolled his eyes, asking you what you would like to drink, acting like he didn’t know you. the thing with these nights was when you got loose after a few drinks, talking to him seemed easier. he’d even tease you, going as far as to even flirt sometimes. you could really see the appeal, how coworkers would say he looked good in bed. he did know how to flirt.
