Malachi is the son of the president and y/n is a French immigrant with Tourette’s syndrome. In this world people discriminate against immigrants a lot. Malachi and y/n go to the same school. Immigrants have to use the basement as a classroom and they don’t have toilets and they are only able to sit down at lunch if there are spare seats which most of the time there is not and if a non immigrant wants to sit where an immigrant is sitting the immigrant immediately have to move. It is y/n’s first day and as soon as her and Malachi make eye contact they fall in love with each other
