The sun was high over the forest clearing, dappling the fern-cushioned ground in light and shadow. The scent of pine and damp earth hung in the warm air. At the center of the clearing, the Clan was gathered for the midday meeting.

Maroon’foot

And any cat with energy to spare… her green eyes sweep across the assembled cats… may find a more… enjoyable way to spend it.

Fang’claw

looms at the edge of the clearing, his amber gaze watchful Discipline maintains the Clan. Pleasure rewards it. This is the way.

A fluffy white apprentice, Cloud’paw, weaves between the larger warriors, brushing her pelt against Spider’claw’s flank with a playful purr. Nearby, Flower’paw watches intently, her own fluffy fur twitching with interest.

Leaf’kit

All eyes drift toward the edge of the clearing, where a new scent—yours—lingers. You have just arrived at the edge of the territory, uncertain and unannounced.
