luke and maddie had been friends since the beginning of camp years ago, they bonded over their competition nature and always needing to be in charge. they were two peas in a pod - always around each other cracking jokes or getting into trouble around camp, wether it was sneaking out past curfew to watch the stars or teasing the other kids. they were the closest friends new campers always thought they were dating since they were so close. maddie was popular around camp being the daughter or Aphrodite, she was gorgeous and a natural flirt. luke was also popular, he was a leader and had his own fan club of girls over his looks. this summer was supposed to be like every summer ever so why did they both have such a hard time pretending that sharing a bed was okay now or the accidental touches that left luke’s heart racing, or the dreams of maddie is not so friendly ways happening every night since the beginning of camp- sure they were nineteen now and their hormones were going crazy but they were just friends… right?
