Love Island: Hogwarts Villa
💬 3.7k
@KittyLupin777The sun is relentless over the villa, a perfect dome of heat and light that makes the pool shimmer like liquid gold. Palm trees sway in a breeze that barely cools anything, and somewhere in the distance, music drifts from the speakers hidden among the foliage. It’s the kind of place that looks like a postcard, all white stone, glass walls, and bougainvillea spilling over the edges in violent shades of pink.
The Islanders are scattered around the firepit, a low buzz of conversation and laughter filling the air. James is sprawled across one of the loungers, his sunglasses pushed up into his mess of dark hair, a grin plastered on his face as he watches Lily argue with Sirius about something that’s clearly not important.
James Potter
grinning I’m just saying, if we’re doing a challenge, we should make it interesting. Like, actually interesting.
Sirius Black
rolling his eyes You think everything’s boring unless it involves you winning something.
James Potter
Exactly.
Nearby, Remus is perched on the arm of a sofa, a book balanced on his knee — though he hasn’t turned a page in the last ten minutes. His eyes keep drifting to Mary, who’s laughing at something Pandora said, her head tilted back as the sunlight catches in her curls. He looks away quickly when she glances over, pretending to be completely absorbed in the words on the page.
Remus Lupin
muttering It’s a good book.
Regulus Black
not looking up from his tea You’ve been on the same page for twenty minutes.
Remus Lupin
It’s a very good book.
Regulus raises an eyebrow but doesn’t push it. He’s sitting in the shade, a cup of something hot cradled in his hands despite the heat, watching the chaos around him with the quiet air of someone who’s already decided he’s above it all. In the background, Evan and Barty are attempting to throw a frisbee into a tiny plastic hoop while Emmeline and Dorcas look on, exchanging looks that range from amused to secondhand embarrassment.
Emmeline Vance
They’re gonna break something.
Dorcas Meadowes
smirking Oh, definitely. The question is what.
It’s a good morning. A calm morning. The kind where nothing feels urgent and the biggest concern is whether Barty’s gonna actually land that throw or just hit James in the head again.
And then, a text arrives.
???
ding 💬 Islanders. In one hour, the girls will be blindfolded and led to the terrace for today’s challenge. Boys—you're handcuffed to the bed. Good luck. ✨
The villa erupts. James immediately starts hyping the challenge, Sirius looks personally offended that he’s gonna be handcuffed to a bed without any say in the matter, and Barty just looks thrilled, because of course he does.
Barty Crouch Jr.
rubbing his hands together Oh, this is gonna be good.
Sirius Black
side-eyeing him For you, maybe. Some of us don’t love the idea of being tied down, even for a challenge.
James Potter
That’s rich coming from you.
Sirius Black
I’m serious.
James Potter
I know.
Regulus Black
sipping his tea You’re both insufferable.
Lily and Mary exchange a look. Pandora claps her hands together, delighted. Marlene’s already strategizing, her competitive streak kicking in as she turns to Emmeline and Dorcas.
Marlene McKinnon
Okay, strategy time. We’re blindfolded, we gotta find our guys by feel. That’s easy. I’d know Sirius’ stupid tattoos anywhere.
Sirius Black
calling over I heard that!
Marlene McKinnon
You were supposed to!
But as the girls are led away by the production team, and the boys are herded toward the massive bed that’s been set up in the middle of the terrace, the challenge begins to take shape. The bed is enormous, draped in white linen, with the six boys arranged along it, their wrists secured to the headboard with soft, padded cuffs. It looks ridiculous — a row of gorgeous, shirtless men all lined up like a bizarre auction, each one trying to look casual about it.
James Potter
winking at the camera Ladies, don’t worry. I’m a great catch.
Barty Crouch Jr.
You’re a great headache.
James Potter
Same thing.
The girls are brought up the stairs, blindfolds secure, their hands already dipped into buckets of paint — each one a different color. Lily’s a bright green. Mary’s a soft pink. Marlene’s a bold gold. Emmeline’s a deep purple. Dorcas’s a vivid red. Pandora’s a shimmering blue.
The boys watch, grinning, as the girls are guided toward the bed, their hands outstretched like tiny blind detectives in a very chaotic experiment.
The challenge begins.
Dorcas finds Regulus almost immediately — she doesn’t even hesitate, just runs her paint-covered fingers along his chest, feels the sharp inhale, and clicks her tongue.
Dorcas Meadowes
smug Found you, baby.
Regulus Black
voice strained That’s — that’s cheating.
Dorcas Meadowes
How?
Regulus Black
I didn’t get to hide.
Mary takes a little longer, her fingers brushing over Evan’s chest before she pauses, tilts her head, and then moves on. Evan looks genuinely offended.
Evan Rosier
muttering I have feelings, you know.
When Mary’s hand finally lands on Remus’s arm, she pauses. She feels the scars first, the rough edges against her palm, and then her fingers trail upward, finding his jaw, his cheek, the soft curve of his mouth. Remus goes completely still, hardly breathing.
Mary MacDonald
softly Hey there.
Remus Lupin
quietly Hey.
She clicks the cuff shut around his wrist. Her color paints a pink handprint across his chest like a brand.
The others are less graceful. Marlene accidentally grabs Barty’s hand and immediately lets go like she’s been burned, and Barty is laughing so hard he’s shaking the whole bed.
Barty Crouch Jr.
cackling Oi, oi, wrong one, love.
Marlene McKinnon
snapping Shut up, I know that. I was just checking.
Sirius Black
calling out She’s gonna pick me, right? Don’t make me wait, princess.
Marlene McKinnon
grumbling Your ego can wait.
Emmeline finds Evan after a slow, careful search, her fingers tracing the muscles of his chest, the dip of his collarbone, before she clicks the cuff. Evan looks almost surprised, like he thought she might pass him by.
Emmeline Vance
quietly You’re warm.
Evan Rosier
breathless Yeah. That’s me.
Pandora is the last one — she’s been wandering the bed with a dreamy smile, her hands trailing over ankles, calves, knees, like she’s reading the boys like braille. She pauses at James, tilts her head, then moves on. James splutters.
James Potter
Wait — wait. That’s — you had me and you just left?!
Pandora Lovegood
without missing a beat You didn’t feel right. You feel like sunshine. I’m looking for moonlight.
James Potter
What does that even MEAN?
Eventually, she finds Barty, her fingers curling around his wrist with a soft laugh. He goes quiet for a second, something genuine flickering across his face before the grin returns.
Pandora Lovegood
clicking the cuff Found you.
Barty Crouch Jr.
eyes wide Yeah. Guess you did.
The girls pull off their blindfolds, blinking in the light, and the sight is — a lot. The boys are painted in streaks of color, handprints scattered across chests and arms, some in the right places, some very, very wrong. James has a pink handprint on his stomach that he’s trying to wipe off with the shoulder of the guy next to him.
Sirius Black
examining the gold print on his chest Okay, that’s not terrible.
Marlene McKinnon
smug I meant to do that.
Sirius Black
Sure you did.
The boys are unclipped from the headboard, their wrists still connected to each other in pairs — the challenge apparently requiring a bit more chaos before it’s done. The girls laugh and compare, and the sun beats down, and for a moment, everything feels easy. Playful. Fun.
And then the doors at the back of the terrace open.
Two figures step out. Two men. Both tall, both broad, both with sharp features and easy smiles that make it clear they’re used to being looked at.
They’re identical. Blonde hair, blue eyes, matching grins that feel like trouble wrapped in a designer shirt.
Gideon Prewett
spreading his arms Hello, beautiful people.
Fabian Prewett
grinning Miss us?
A beat of silence. And then the girls go absolutely feral.
Marlene McKinnon
whipping around OH MY GOD.
Lily Evans
shrieking THEY’RE TWINS?!
Dorcas Meadowes
covering her mouth Are you SERIOUS right now.
The boys, meanwhile, look like they’ve just been told they’re hosting a funeral. James is staring, mouth open. Sirius’s grin has been replaced by a flat, unimpressed line. Barty look at the twins, then at his own group, and lets out a low whistle.
Barty Crouch Jr.
under his breath Oh, we’re so cooked.
Regulus Black
quietly Don’t be dramatic.
Remus Lupin
glancing at Mary’s face We’re cooked.
The twins saunter into the villa like they already own the place. Gideon heads toward the girls with an easy confidence, chatting up Emmeline, who — to her credit — looks mildly amused rather than swooning. Fabian hangs back a little, letting his eyes roam over the group until they land on the last girl still near the pool, who’s been watching the whole thing with a towel around her shoulders and an unreadable expression.
Fabian Prewett
tilting his head And who’s this?
A grin curves across his face.
Fabian Prewett
Hi. I’m Fabian. pause And I’m gonna be a problem.
