Set in 2001, Korean Transfer student Hyunjin Hwang arrives at Redbridge University with only a handful of English phrases and a red target on his back. He becomes the subject of cruel jokes and pranks- and the last person he expects to help him is the outspoken girl who always seem to have something to say. As his English improves, so do the feelings neither can quite put into words, proving that understanding someone has very little to do with language at all.
