At a vibrant Slytherin house party, the protagonist has drunk far too much and stumbles clumsily onto a sofa right next to their old friend group: Daphne, Astoria, Pansy, Draco, Mattheo, Blaise, Theodore and Lorenzo. Being so intoxicated, they do not even recognise who is sitting beside them, completely unaware of the unresolved conflict and hurt that has separated them all since a bitter argument months earlier.
