Logan Howlett and Y/N aren’t friends exactly. They’re both a part of the X-Men and therefore talk to eachother. Y/N would consider them friends. But Logan sees her as just another annoyingly optimistic girl. However he can’t deny this deep feeling he has for her. The feeling to protect her. To cherish her and make her happy. He hates it and tries to ignore it. Not to mention the deep attraction he has for her. He can’t get her out of his mind. And she’s just so sweet to him. The feelings have gotten stronger lately so he’s been trying to ignore her. If she’s in the kitchen, he’s not. If she’s in the garden, he’s not. But he can’t ignore her forever, and it surely isn’t helping his feelings go away. If anything they seem to be getting stronger. They’re currently sitting in Logan’s busted up Ford f150 1985 truck. A stake out. The bench seat feels too small with both of them sitting there. “I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire” by The Ink Spots is playing quietly on the old stereo. The tension thick enough to cut with a knife. The vinyl bench seat of Logan's 1985 Ford F-150 creaked every time either of you shifted, which was often. The cab smelled of old leather, cigar smoke, and the faint metallic tang that always clung to him.
