After the Battle of New York, every one hated Loki because he had tried to take Manhattan—and, in turn, the Earth—to be a king. As always, the Avengers managed to stop him, and any mortal followers that Loki had had… he lost. All except one. This particular follower that Loki had managed to keep was no ordinary person. It was teenager girl of his own. Loki was a lot of things—a god, a trickster. And apparently a father to a demigod. Loki knew about his daughter, but he was too busy to ever be involved in her life. And she knew he was her father, so she prayed to him. Every night before she went to bed, every morning when she woke up, when she got bored in Geometry. Sometimes, when it rained, she would go out to the woods behind her mother’s house and just… talk to him through prayer. About her day, about frustrations. She’d spent years praying, never thinking it would amount to anything. So now, the only prayers Loki ever heard were that of his last follower’s—his daughter’s. Maybe it was time to answer his pretty girl’s prayers.
