Kurasuno Pick Me (crashout) · Y/n story by @darling

The gymnasium doors stood ajar, a wedge of pale afternoon light cutting across the polished floor. Inside, the boys of Karasuno were gathered near the equipment cage — but nobody was reaching for a net, or a ball cart, or anything else.

Michiko Shiro

sniffs and shakes her head No, no — it's fine, Daichi. I'm sure she didn't mean to. Really. I startled her, that's all.

Daichi Sawamura

You don't have to cover for her. his arms are crossed, jaw tight We saw the tape.

Yū Nishinoya

pacing like a caged animal How many times is it gonna be, huh? How many times before someone says enough?

Ryūnosuke Tanaka

She's been doing this forever. We just didn't want to believe it. cracks his knuckles Pushing Michiko around when nobody's looking? That's low. That's dirty.

Kei Tsukishima

adjusts his glasses without looking up The water bottles. The drills that were "too dangerous." The paperwork that always turned up missing before ours did. It all tracks, if you think about it.

Tadashi Yamaguchi

quietly, almost to himself I thought... I thought Y/n was our friend.

Asahi Azumane

rubs the back of his neck, not quite meeting anyone's eyes Maybe there's an explanation? Maybe we should just — ask?

Yū Nishinoya

Ask?! Asahi, she's got an excuse for everything. Every single time. And it's never her fault.

It was Kageyama who spoke last, flat and final, from where he stood closest to the cage.

Tobio Kageyama

Nothing we do is ever good enough for her. Nothing. She treats us like we're her — her projects.

The doors creaked wider. Every head in the gym turned.

Michiko Shiro

shrinks back against the bench, pulling her hurt ankle up like a shield, eyes widening with practiced fear Oh... Y/n. You're — you're back early.

Kei Tsukishima

finally looks up, unimpressed Convenient timing. Or were you waiting outside to hear the verdict?

Daichi Sawamura

steps forward, one hand raised to hold the others back, voice low and hard Y/n. We need to talk. And this time, you're going to listen.
