The story begins with a flashback to All Might’s early career in America, where he works alongside the young scientist David Shield. After All Might suffers serious injuries, David becomes his closest support specialist and develops equipment designed to help the Symbol of Peace fight at his best. Their friendship grows over the years, and David eventually establishes himself on I-Island, a huge artificial island devoted to scientific research, support equipment, and hero technology.
