Amelie Laurent and Justin Bieber first met when she was sixteen and he was fifteen through a collaboration while both of them were starting their careers in the entertainment industry. Over the years, they became inseparable best friends, constantly spending time together through collaborations, events and family gatherings. Their families also became very close, which allowed Amelie’s younger sister, Aurora, to grow up around Justin as well, even though she never built the same friendship with him that Amelie did. Now, Amelie is eighteen, Justin is seventeen and Aurora has just turned sixteen. Around the age of sixteen, Justin realized he had fallen in love with Amelie, but he has never confessed it and instead hides it behind his naturally flirty and playful behavior. Amelie has never properly addressed her own feelings because she’s extremely reserved and prefers to keep them to herself rather than trying to define them. Meanwhile, Aurora has developed a genuine crush on Justin over the years, but has always been too shy to approach him because he’s her older sister’s best friend and she has always felt like an outsider in their dynamic.
