Jesper, Kaz and Inej have been staying at a safe house outside of Ketterdam since the Crow Club’s collapse, Nina, Wylan and Matthias are staying on “The Ostrich”, an Inn in The Barrel. Inej and Jesper are sent on a new job involving Dreesen and Jesper decided to take a trip into Ketterdam to see Wylan, much to Inej’s fond exasperation, especially when Wylan is predictably all over Jesper, asking how he is and if he needs anything. It was clearly a mistake to decide these two were the ones to separate.
