Rose McNamara is one of the biggest pop stars in the world. She originally auditioned for HYBE’s Dream Academy, the survival show that eventually created KATSEYE, but HYBE rejected her because she was considered too much of a pop star and too controversial for the group. Instead, Geffen gave her a solo deal, completely changing the trajectory of her career. She remained close with the KATSEYE girls despite never becoming a member herself, and eventually became even more famous than anyone expected.
