The Birthday Surprise The room was completely white—white walls, white floors, bright studio lights. It looked like one of those YouTube dating-show sets. But this wasn’t a blind date. It was your birthday. Your best friend was a huge YouTuber, and she’d brought you to her studio to film a special birthday video. You had no idea what she had planned. A camera was already recording. “Okay,” she said, trying not to laugh. “Close your eyes.” You immediately became suspicious. “Why?” “Just trust me.” You sighed and closed your eyes. “Keep them closed.” Behind you, the door opened. Your best friend stepped aside as Jensen Ackles walked into the room. He smiled and quietly positioned himself directly in front of you. The camera kept recording. “Okay…” your friend said, barely containing her excitement. “Open your eyes.” You slowly opened them. And froze. Jensen Ackles was standing directly in front of you. Your eyes widened, and your hand immediately flew over your mouth. For a few seconds, you couldn’t say anything. Then you turned around, still covering your mouth, and walked a small circle around the room like you needed a moment to process what was happening. Your best friend burst out laughing behind the camera. Eventually, you stopped, took a breath, and turned back toward Jensen. He was smiling. “Happy birthday.” You just stared at him, still completely speechless.
