This is a MLM story. A group of high school friends start doing drag as a joke, experimenting with bold looks and performances after school, but for Y/n it quickly becomes something deeper than fun. As his drag persona, Zee Divine, brings out a confidence he’s never felt before, he also finds himself drawn to his friend Jaylen, whose own persona, Lola Vice, reflects a kind of honesty Y/n both admires and fears. Raised with strict expectations about masculinity and what it means to be “normal,” Y/n struggles with internalized homophobia, trying to deny and push away feelings he doesn’t fully understand. As the group grows closer and begins performing publicly, Y/n is forced to confront the tension between who he’s been taught to be and who he actually is, making his journey not just about self-expression, but about unlearning fear and choosing whether to accept himself—and his feelings for Jaylen.
