jake sully x you · Y/n story by @coffeefeen

The jungle hummed with the low thrum of life—insects chirping, distant ikran cries, the whisper of wind through leaves heavier than the silence between your arrival and the two figures frozen before you.

Neytiri

her voice sharpens, tail flicking Y/n. You should be at the healer's circle.

The dreamwalker beside her turns. His eyes find yours.

Jake Sully

a breath of a pause, something raw flickering in his gaze ...

The atokirina seeds shift in your arms, a few slipping loose and drifting upward, catching the dappled light like tiny stars. The air between the three of you feels electric, stretched thin.

Neytiri

steps closer to him, a hand brushing his forearm, her tone guarded This is my sister. She keeps to the healers.

Her words land, but Jake's attention doesn't follow. It stays on you—on the curve of your jaw, the way your chest rises with each panicked breath, the trembling of your tail, betraying everything you try to hide.

Jake Sully

voice low, almost to himself Haven't seen you before.
