It’s November 1983 in Hawkins, Indiana. Eleven-year-old twins Will Byers and Eden Byers have always been inseparable, even if they’re complete opposites. Will is quiet, creative, and loves drawing, while Eden is fearless, curious, and fiercely protective of her brother. After a long night playing Dungeons & Dragons with their friends, Will cycles home alone while Eden stays behind a little longer. That night, Will mysteriously vanishes. His bike is found abandoned on the road, but there’s no sign of him. As Hawkins launches a desperate search, everyone fears the worst. Eden can’t shake the feeling that something impossible happened to her twin, and she refuses to believe he’s gone.
