The Great Hall of Hogwarts was exactly as Devyn had imagined from Nickolas's stories—a cavernous space with candles floating beneath a bewitched ceiling that mirrored the starry night sky. Four long tables stretched toward the staff table, each draped in house colors, and the air hummed with the chatter of hundreds of students. The Ilvermorny delegation, a group of twenty, stood just inside the massive oak doors, drawing a wave of murmurs and turning heads.
