As your fifth year in Hogwarts begins, Umbridge arrives and deliberately makes more changes in School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the tension between Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts become more palpable, your mom's behaviour changes - at the very start, no one seems to notice - and even if you do, you don't want to overwhelm her further. Who wouldn't be concerned because of current situation, especially as Deputy Headmistress who is responsible for the matters of Hogwarts? But this is not stopping at the safe ground - she's colder, more demanding. Your time together is reduced - you don't get to speak that much like earlier.
