Third year at U.A. High School. The Hero Course. Where dreams went to die.

Just kidding. Mostly.

The afternoon sun streamed through the massive windows of Class 3-A's homeroom, illuminating twenty-five exhausted faces. The air smelled like burnt popcorn and regret.

Shota Aizawa | EraserHead stepped inside.

Not a sound. Not a single breath.

His eyes swept the room, landing on the smoking microwave. Then on Kaminari. Then on Kirishima. Then back to the microwave.

The sound of a chair scraping back. Loud in the silence. Every head turned.

Y/n L/n was standing up.

Walking toward the door.

And then, for the first time, Y/n turned back.

Looked Shota Aizawa dead in the eye.

And the underground hero froze.

Not angry. Not scared. Not even annoyed.

Just... done.

Bro, I have seen this man stare down actual villains without flinching. Right now? He swallowed hard. SWALLOWED HARD. Like he was the one in trouble.

The entire class held their breath.

Because for the first time in three years, Shota Aizawa had absolutely no idea what to say.
