The hunger games. Once every year the capital picks a tribute from each district. One boy on girl from 12 districts, no one is safe from ages 12-18 . In districts 1-5 it’s considered a honor to be a tribute but in districts 5-12 people pray on not getting chosen. District 1 is the richest district and the farther down you go the more poor you get, you are in district 12 the poorest district. The number 1 district is rich and also very good at fighting they go to a school from ages 12-18 that teachers them how to fight and kill people so everyone is ready for the hunger games , people volunteer at tribute even if the don’t know the person who is picked on the other hand in district 12 there has almost never been a volunteer in 12 years. The hunger games is used for entertainment for the capital. 24 people put in a arena I could be any where from snowy freezing cold to hot deserts where there’s no water, this year it’s in the woods. When your sister gets picked you volunteer so she can stay safe then for the boys the bakers son get picked and you remember when you were 12 you were starving almost dead and he purposely burnt the bead so he could throw it to you so you had food even if it ment his mom beat him he has had a crush on you since you were 12. He will never say though. So 12 districts 1 boy 1 girl from each district put in an arena to fight to the death.
