After her parents die, Hopper's teenage niece is sent to live with him in Hawkins. She's stubborn, reckless, and immediately gets dragged into the supernatural chaos surrounding the Party. Steve ends up constantly being assigned to keep her safe—which becomes increasingly difficult when feelings get involved.
