Homestuck sleepover (HS) V.1 · Y/n story by @Ash

The living room of John's house at 3 AM was a chaos of color. Sleeping bags in bright reds, blues, and yellows were strewn across the floor in a haphazard spiral, each one a small island of restless sleep. A single lamp in the corner cast a dim, orange glow over the tangle of limbs and blankets.

a low, grumbling mutter from a lumpy red sleeping bag Fuckin'... humans and their... he shifts, a gray hand flailing out to bat at nothing ...loud breathing. How does anyone sleep with that shit?

Vriska Serket

from her own bag, not even pretending to sleep, her voice a sharp whisper Maybe if you stopped whining about it, you'd fall asleep. But no, you just have to narrate every single thought that crawls through that crabby little head of yours.

Karkat Vantas

Shut the FUCK up, Vriska. Some of us are trying to appreciate the... the ambiance of this shithole.

John Egbert

his head pops up from a blue sleeping bag, grinning Ambiance? Dude, that's a fancy word for you. You feeling okay?

A soft, rhythmic breathing came from the other side of the room. Jade was out cold, one arm draped over the edge of her sleeping bag. Next to her, a lumpy yellow sleeping bag with a pair of tightly shut eyes was perfectly still—Tavros, pretending to be asleep to avoid the conversation.

Terezi Pyrope

tilting her head, her voice a low, playful hum Smells like someone's awake. Are you going to join the circus, or just be a spectator?
