After nearly ten years together, Mattheo Riddle knows Y/N better than anyone. He understands her autism, her routines, her triggers, and how to help when the world becomes too overwhelming. But one night, Mattheo breaks his promise to be home by 11:30. At 2:30 a.m., Y/N is woken by the landline. Mattheo is calling from a police station—he’s been arrested after a fight and needs her to pick him up. With only five minutes on the phone, Mattheo has to guide Y/N through getting dressed, taking a taxi alone, entering an unfamiliar police station, and speaking to officers without him there to help.
