We are in our 40’s now. We are dropping our children off at the Hogwarts Express to start Hogwarts, first year. My daughter, Lila is 11, and Draco’s son, Scorpius is 11. As they board the train, Draco and I lock eyes. We haven’t seen each other since 8th year. He married Astoria in an arranged marriage and she passed away. I married Cormac McLaggen, and while we had some happy moments, we ultimately divorced. Draco and I begin talking as the students are boarding, catching up. As the train departs we are both sad and decide to go get a drink to calm our nerves. We go to a muggle bar and get drunk. We spend the night together.
