everyone knows the story of frankenstein. a man creates life, only to abandon his creation and leave him to face a world that fears him. but what if someone had found him before the world could completely break him? you never believed the stories about the creature hiding in the woods, until you meet him yourself. he’s terrifying at first. towering, scarred, and unlike anything you’ve ever seen. but beneath the monstrous appearance is someone painfully human. someone who has never known kindness, friendship, or a place to belong. you should be afraid of him. instead, you stay. what begins with cautious encounters in the forest slowly becomes something neither of you understands. you teach him about humanity, while he shows you that there’s more to a person than what the world sees. for the first time, the creature has someone who doesn’t look at him and see a monster. he looks at you and sees his reason to live. but victor frankenstein is still searching for his creation, and when he discovers that his monster has found something worth protecting, he’ll stop at nothing to take it away. because perhaps the greatest thing frankenstein ever created wasn’t a monster. perhaps it was a heart capable of love.
