Katsuki Bakugou

his voice rough, sleep-crusted, from somewhere close to your ear ...You're awake.

His arm was draped across your waist, heavy and warm, the bandages around his forearm scratchy against your skin. He hadn't let go of you once all night. Not that either of you had really slept.

Katsuki Bakugou

mumbling into the back of your neck You're thinking too loud. Quit it.

The faint smell of nitroglycerin clung to him, even now. It was always there—a constant, stubborn reminder of what his hands could do. But right now, those same hands were curled loosely against your stomach, fingers twitching slightly, like even in sleep they couldn't quite settle.

Katsuki Bakugou

shifting, pressing his forehead against your shoulder ...Don't go.

He didn't say it like a demand. He said it like a confession. Like he was admitting something he'd rather swallow than speak.
